As of late I’ve been restarting or you can say finally starting my faith based life. I grew up in church, and lived around those who work for the lord all my life but I never really fully understood it until now.
For years I’ve been running away from reading the Bible and praying consistently. Not because I didn’t necessarily want to, but because I didn’t fully understand why. Everyone else is already praying for me so why should I.
Now that I’m older I understand that while yes others can pray for you, they don’t know everything that happens in your life. So you must take up your worries and expectations with God yourself. Also it’s important to have a relationship with God yourself and get to know him and all the wonders he can give you.
God wants a relationship with all of us, he’s not going to force us but he will always be there to listen to your prayers, guide you in the right direction and protect you from harm.
I hope one day I can fully articulate my thoughts so I can spread his message effectively. Bear with me I’m just getting started.
