I’m too Old

Age is nothing but a number(to an extent). Why do we let age hold us back from creating the life that we want, going back to school, or starting your dream business, following your wildest dreams.

Who said you had to be a certain age to achieve some goal. College for example, you have the standard rule that you must complete it in four years. But that is far from the truth, for some it takes longer and if you’re one of the lucky ones less time. It takes longer for some for many reasons, family obligations, funding, or in my case unsure of what you want to study, and when you finally figure it out the school doesn’t offer the classes that is in their curriculum(what!!!) But I digress, stop letting society dictate how and when you should achieve goals. I believe that’s where our anxiety and frustration with ourselves stems from, we’re expected to have a certain amount of success by a specific age.

The way I see it is that we are all here for individual purposes and we will excel at different times of our lives. I also look at it as, I might me moving at a faster pace that someone else, graduate at 23 found the perfect career at 25 and kids at 30. But someone else is still in school at 25 and doesn’t get married until 35. I might be moving at a faster pace because my soul knows I don’t have much time on earth. So my soul is allowing me to have a fulling life earlier so I can pass on knowing I had a great life. As for the other person who seems to not progress as fast as me, their soul knows they have a long life ahead. So it allows them to take it easy while achieving their life goals and same milestones as mines at a slower pace.

So go ahead and complete that degree at your own pace, start the business no one has the exact same idea as you and follow through with your goals. Trust me you’ll get there when need be!
