You always get to decide how to direct your energy, this will always be your will. Lately, for myself I feel as I’m being tested on how I respond on day to day events, and I’m noticing growth in myself and how I choose to respond.
Instead of running with the typical why me and this is just the hand I was given for life. Now I look at every day problems as what can I learn from this, because there is a reason why I’m going through it. In theory, I don’t really believe in God gives his toughest battles to his strongest angels. I think it goes like this, God gives battles to see who still has the crazy faith to see it through. There is great reward in the end.
Instead of complaining of unexpected expenses, I give thanks that I have the means and a job to cover it. Yeah it sucks digging into your savings, but I’m thankful for having it just in case.
In life always be thankful, not because it could be worse but it makes the journey a bit more manageable. Be thankful for all you have. You always get to decide how to channel your energy. How you choose to shine your light is a representation of you, so be good.
