Disturbing the Peace

In life everyone experiences someone or something just messing up the peace, and if you are anything like me in my younger days I had all the questions for the peace disturber. I wanted all the smoke! But going through life I realized that everything does not need a reaction. Plus to be honest nothing ruffles the feathers of a peace disturber knowing that what they are doing has no affect on you. This is called protecting your peace.

When the peace is disturbed, it has you questioning all about you and others. Why didn’t I do this differently, why is that person acting that way. I’m not gonna lie people are very annoying at times, but you can not let that interrupt your peace. Peace is needed in life otherwise we will all be walking around like ticking time bombs!

Ways I like to calm my mind when something a[has gone array is try to understand what the particular lesson is trying to teach me. In my life at this moment my lesson is humility. Now I do not go walking around like a prissy pants, but I do have to learn to calm down and let others express themselves whether right or wrong. Another lesson I’m learning is that when your disobedient to God, life will be just a tad harder like unexpected things will be thrown your way. Unexpected things doesn’t have to be life altering things either, it could be you not getting the chance to go to the store to get that thing you really want or even an inconvenience at work (major story time!)

So by me saying all this use your time wisely and protect your peace. if someone or a situation is disturbing your peace, maybe it’s time to let them or the situation go. Go with the flows of life until you can catch yourself. As for me I will never get myself in a situation like this again. Story time for another time!
