Self Care

Self care is important whether it be in the form of physical, mental or spiritual self care. Especially during the holiday season its easy to get carried away with the high demands of the season. By dwelling in either form helps us connect back with our center calmer selves. You must always take time to take care of you before you can service someone else.

  • Firstly it is important to take care of your physical self so you always feel your best. No w this can take form in working out, eating well, drinking more water or pamper routines.
  • The next step is taking care of your mental space. Setting up boundaries that cannot be broken is key, not over working yourself to the point of breakdown. I know for myself, once I reach the level of burnout it will take a while for me to level out. So to avoid that set boundaries and make a plan to sort out your day.
  • Lastly, taking care of your spiritual health, I don’t know about you but for me if I stray away from God for too long NO BUENO. Everything makes me feel like I’m under attack or there is some other motive for everyday life things that are happening to me. So, praying daily to God or whoever you believe in, helps you to stay grounded, humble and thankful. I also believe that by staying consistent in your spiritual self care re4ally helps you stay motivated and keeps you creative.

At the end of all of this we should feel some sense of peace, and gratitude. Hopefully this helps someone soon. Remember not everything deserves a reaction.
