Getting out of a Funk

1. Stop reflecting on the past

It’s easy to look back on your life whether good or bad as wish you could have done something different. Then continue to beat yourself up on that thought. Let it go, there is a reason why you went through the things you did. It lead you to where you are now.

2. Stop worrying about the future

Focus on your present moment, do everything you can right now to make your present self happy and comfortable. We let anxiety kick in when we start worrying what we will do months to years from now. Then we completely shut down. You’ll get to where you’re supposed to be, RELAX!!

3. Stop letting your mind control you or other people

Don’t out think yourself out of an idea because you think you’re not capable enough to follow through with it. Also don’t let others opinions about you or your ideas stop you from trying. Our minds are conditioned to think like it’s other people telling us we are not good enough, because it is scared of the unknown. Other people are conditioned to tell us their own opinions because their scared of their own potential.
