A few days ago I touched on the importance of creating/setting routines in order to have the most productive day. Now I’m going to touch on the importance of setting goals. Having a set of goals is so important, it makes sure you are staying on track.
In the beginning of a new year everyone including myself have a set of resolutions
they would like to achieve by the end of the year, but for most and me it’s not enough
to just have a list.
I like to break my goals down in to Quarters, the usual Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4. Then I break them down even further into tangible steps. One goal I have for example is to have is for this blog, 12 posts a month minimum. Then I broke that goal down even further. A month typically has 4 weekS. So I’ll do 3 posts a week and that covers my 12 minimum a month. (Please hold me accountable b/c I really want this site to grow, I have so many Ideas to come!). Plus to take it even further I
created a schedule of when I’ll post, which is every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
By creating the steps and breaking them down into my daily life, it ensures that I
am doing everything possible to ache ive my goal. Now remember if God called you to do
more please do so you do not want to be self limiting your blessings.
