As we enter the season of college applications and the spring semester, please remember to follow your dreams. Yes, most parents always have our best intentions in heart but if we don’t follow what we love, we’ll be trapped in life’s imprisonment. Doing things other people told us to do, following the life cycle of school to work to death, without ever taking the time to enjoy everything our life has to offer us. I too was also bamboozled, lied to and led astray in thinking that life was only about work after college, and then getting lost in the fantasy of social media at night. Why can’t I live like those other people.
So remember if you’re in school don’t wait until its too late to study what you want. Sit down and talk to your parents about your feasible goals in life and what you want to change your course of study. If you try explaining to them and education them on why you want to do it they’ll understand trust me.
Don’t be like me and ignore the signs and give yourself anxious suffering for no reason at all.
